Went to the pet shop again and there’s another albino #sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus) - what an adorable little thing! I wish I had the space for one but that’s never going to happen….
According to the shop worker, people buy them to keep them in ponds (didn’t know there were that many people out here with gigantic ponds).
Trying to challenge myself to draw #fish again on a regular basis - here’s a quick doodle of an albino Acipenser ruthenus aka #sterlet (a type of #sturgeon).
I saw the most adorable little albino specimen the size of a goldfish in a local pet store recently. No idea why they were selling a fish that can grow to around 1m to the general public though.
