If someone does have any advice what could cause this or what to check I would be thankful.
As this is the only game causing bluescreens it might be hard to find.

In case anyone has this problem playing #control in #steamremoteplay on #ubuntu and #appletv:
I had to change my startup flags to include directx because the appletv was showing black screen after any choice I made on that screen. Now it doesn’t show the directx screen anymore and launches the game normally.
I played for about 4 hours and 15 minutes and it was consistent the whole time. No weird slow downs like I've seen referenced on ProtonDB and Reddit.
Next time I play I may try streaming it from my computer and see how much I can push the graphics and if Steam Remote Play or Moonlight wins out on my network.
