anubis2814The thing anti- #communist detractors ignore or are ignorant to, is that its not like any communist nation went from a free liberal democracy with a fully functioning infrastructure to #communism . They went from hyper authoritarian monarchies or authoritarian colonies with pretty much no functioning infrastructure to speak of actually fared way better than the nations that went with authoritarian post- #colonialism . Yeah #Lenin and #Mao were brutal by our standards, but compared to the Czars and emperors before them they were super nice guys. Sadly along the way that lead to Stalin which created the disasters for Pol Pot, Kim Il Sung, #Gulags, the #Holodomor and #Stazi Germany and everyone who joined the communist world was forced to be little Stalins or else. Only Cuba, Viet Nam, Laos and a few other places were not forced to have that kind of communism and they were embargoed within an inch of their life requiring complete self-sufficiency for decades.
We judge #socialism and communism on completely unfair comparisons and had FDR not died sadly, leaving us Harry Truman and not the VP before him, we'd probably still be trading just fine with all the communist nations and all be enriched together. Instead a corrupt judge got the ear of Trueman and the know nothing VP got brainwashed by the red scare. The Soviet union went from a backwater no where to space in 40 years.
#Marx assumed France or England with their fully built infrastructure would be there the first proletariat revolution would occur, not backwater Russia with no infrastructure or education to speak of. But out elites read their Marx and turned enough of our #Proletariat into petit bourgeois, ensuring there would not be the dictatorship or the proletariat that Marx predicted as inevitable. Of course modern tech bros are idiots who never read Marx and are quickly turning us all into proletariat or workers who own nothing but their children and the clothes on their back but even worse because we now own negative things thanks to all the debt.
At this point there are two paths thanks to Venture capital, Hedge funds, private equity, the military industrial complex, and corporation lobbying. #Fascism or socialism. One will destroy the planet the other will save it, and those rich tech bros are radicalizing us daily as we move toward being proletariat each day. Which way will it go? who knows.
