IFR (she/her)The #asylum locally closed down around the turn of this century. The beautiful (and listed) main hospital building was turned into flats in 2007. As was the way with asylums it was its own little community. It wasn’t just #hospital wards, it had farms, #workshops, a #chapel, a #cemetery and a #mortuary.
The mortuary is currently for sale.
