#Sanierung der #Gedenkstätte #StChristoph bis voraussichtlich Sommer 2025 beendet.
Heute wurde das Bauschild offiziell von #Baudezernentin #MarianneGrosse und der #GebäudewirtschaftMainz enthüllt.

St. Christoph wurde bei einem #Bombenangriff am 27. Februar 1945 zerstört, die Kirche blieb als #Ruine erhalten. In den 60er Jahren fiel die Entscheidung, diese Ruine als# Mahnmal zu bewahren. Seitdem wurden nach und nach Maßnahmen zur Stabilisierung und zum Erhalt durchgeführt.
