#SpiteClub: I spent some time this morning scrolling through my IG feed, blocking magats. In particular, Bill Nye the Science Guy posted a photo on President’s Day from when #Biden awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in early January. Magats seemed surprised and hurt that Bill is not on their side of the political spectrum. So much blocking commenced. Blockity block block.

For #SpiteClub today, I meditated for 12 minutes! It helped calm some symptoms down. 🥺

For #SpiteClub today, I meditated for 8 minutes!

I think it’s really helping me to have some sort of accountability. I wouldn’t be meditating otherwise.

Today for #SpiteClub, I meditated for 9 minutes! It helped me let go of some anxieties, I think.

It works really well, but I usually don't want to do it 😂

For #SpiteClub today, we did some journaling! Nothing fancy, but I think it helped. 🥺

It's been a bit of a rough week! So we didn't end up posting anything for #SpiteClub.

But today:

1. My headmate @cobalt rested all day after bumping up against a major trigger (and got a big Pokemon Go achievement from bed!)

2. I meditated for 10 minutes just now, which really helped calm down my brain

#SpiteClub: The past week was mostly just getting through each day and I didn’t do anything remarkable, so didn’t have anything to post. But this morning, despite feeling tired and unmotivated, I participated with my partner in our recurring weekly Zoom #workout. I felt better afterward, and learned some new stretches for a tricky back muscle that’s bothering me. Also, our cats LOVE to nuzzle and hang out with us during floor exercises, and #Diamond was ridiculously affectionate today. ❤️💪🐈‍⬛

1. Nearly 100% of the time, even when I'm too exhausted to sit up, I can still read and type!! Mostly just social media posts, but I would do so badly without access to those. I'm so grateful my symptoms don't usually get in the way of reading/writing small things.

2. Medication that works - currently this is being proven to me by pharmacy issues 😅 but I'm excited to get back on it!

3. The hashtag #SpiteClub - I think it's really going to help me 🥺

For #SpiteClub today, we:

1. Listened to ourselves instead of pushing through (for multiple things)

2. Did 6 minutes of meditation

3. Ate vegetables and got some protein in us

Today was a tough day emotionally for me. Not for any new reason, just *gestures to everything* in general. I drove in traffic along a busy interstate for 3 hours, which was unpleasant. My #SpiteClub activity was listening to and scream-singing Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” while I drove to release tension and frustration. It helped, and felt good to yell at the world a little. Plus, singing while I drive helps me inhale/exhale more deeply, which is also helpful.
