JoshGang, I am here to report that Shadow of the Weird Wizard is balls to the walls bonkers fun. Had a Pollywog (frog person) slinging baddies around with his tongue, a nature mage blowing dudes up with fiery pinecones, and a shadow priest leaping from shadow to shadow pursuing his enemies. All at 1st level.

I decided to make flash cards for all the NPCs in the first village my players will encounter. Both to be able to take notes and to have ready descriptions of each. A dozen cards later and I’m only halfway through. Not that they’ll meet a quarter of them the first session.
Everyone in Compton is poor and miserable.
But I’m getting more and more familiar with the setting.
