In November, we will be showing linocuts by Michael Krümpel at the Regenbogencafé. In addition to more abstract images, the artist has responded to the racist violence of the 1990s with his works.
Most of the pictures are available for purchase. We will donate the money to the initiative Berlin Remembers Munich OEZ.
We are taking the exhibition opening as an opportunity to talk about racism and remembrance practices today and in the past.
To this end, we have invited the memorial initiatives ‘Berlin Remembers Munich OEZ’, ‘Initiative to Investigate the Murder of Burak Bektaş’ and Elias from linksjugend solid Oberhavel.
From 6:30 p.m. Dinner (KüFa)
7:30 p.m. Vernissage
8:00 p.m. Panel discussion
9:00 p.m. Songs by Jens
In February, there will also be a workshop with ‘Berlin Remembers Munich OEZ’ in the café.
Further information is available on the Regenbogencafé channels.
