@afeinman @afewbugs I think I'd argue that the conflict in something like the Monk & Robot books is between the world you're reading about and the world you're reading in and thus the 'Punk' part of the genre name is covered.

Or maybe we should just call it #hopeCore or #solarCore?

@audunmb solar-centric SciFi is #solarcore. #solarpunk is when the your window planter is a repainted ammo box from a defunct #cyberpunk MegaCorp.

@eldritch48 @octarine_wiggle #solarcore interesting like cottagecore, maybe for more of the eco utopian stories but, I still like solarpunk for the non utopian stories. You see like I have stated before I want the fight stories. "The fuck you for building this city to not include nature stories." To me that is a punk story.
