If I follow someone on social media and I search their name in Siri, should they show up in the suggested items (without having to open the app)? Similar to how contacts from the address book show up.

It seems like it should be possible with #SiriKit but none of the apps seem to do it? is there a reason for that?

I suppose it may cause some confusion if you speak to Siri instead of typing. Especially if you have the same person listed in a few different social media apps but Siri already asks what app you want to use to message someone, so not a huge issue.

With the promised boost to Siri I hope we will see apps integrating more with OS itself. There are already some apps I hardly ever actually need to open but they are working tirelessly in the background.
