We had a large number of excellent submissions, resulting in 52 accepted papers, the second largest number in the workshop‘s 22 year history!
In addition, at least 11 papers about sign languages have been accepted to the LREC main conference. We include a list of these on the same page.

We are excited to announce the official call for papers for sign-lang@LREC 2026, aka the 12th Workshop on the Representation and Processing of Sign Languages! It will take place on 16 May 2026 as a full day event on the final day of LREC 2026 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
The deadline for submissions is 14 February 2026. Please note that these must be full paper submissions (4–8 pages), not abstracts.

It is offical: We will be part of LREC 2026 as the 12th Workshop on the Representation and Processing of Sign Languages 🎉
The conference will take place from 11–16 May in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The workshop theme will be “Language in Motion”. The exact workshop date and submission deadline are not yet confirmed. Don’t forget to register for sign-lang@LREC 2024! Early bird prices are still available until end of Monday, 15 April. Also, we now offer custom LaTeX and Word templates. These are modified versions of the official #LREC_COLING2024 templates (which we also accept), but add (optional) ORCID icons for authors and remove the anonymity requirement. The LaTeX template also comes pre-loaded with the entire sign-lang@LREC Anthology bibliography.
