2019-Melbourne
2019-Melbourne
#Melburnian’s gather in love and appreciation of strangers (fellow #Australians and #newzealand-ers) of yesteryear, who made the ultimate sacrifice for us all.
War and conflict is not preferred, by any stretch.
However, without them, who knows the type and quality of society / lifestyle we’d be living, today.
This was at the #ShrineofRemembrance around 5.30am this morning.

Poppy’s are synonymous with remembrance. Of those who were taken from us in past times (and the present), by conflict and war.
These are still displaying proudly in #Melbourne’s #ShrineofRemembrance
They’re just beautiful.
Poppies for me represent solemn memories of those who fell (and still do) for you and I, to exist in a world that is still finding its way toward peace and harmony.
And yet they evoke a sense of hope and optimism. Inasmuch as that the good we inject into our own sphere of influence, we can make this a better place for ourselves, our kids and the generations come.
I believe that celebrating difference and tolerance to all, no matter our differences, love will always prevail.
