If the current swathe of short-term let applications get approved, does anyone have suggestions for legal #airbnb resistance activities? I’m thinking things that won’t get anyone in trouble, but will make life difficult for the company that’s buying up properties in this area. #edinburgh #ShortTermLets #LivingRent #HousingEmergency

A good article on why people are protesting #overtourism.

People with cash buy small accommodation for #ShortTermLets via #airbnb. Real, normal people with a normal amount of money and a normal income can't afford to compete with that. Long term rentals are ridiculously scarce near the places they need to live, work and study.
