Stumbled across #ShionMiura "The Easy Life in Kamusari" 神去なあなあ日常, only translated 2021, possibly favourite book this year, heartwarming, cosy, hints of magical realism. Then discovered a moderately loose screen adaptation, Wood Job! fantastic movie.

Have just read her "The Great Passage" 舟を編む, about the compilation of a dictionary. Main character #autistic coded, just a lovely book. And it has TWO screen adaptations, looking forward to it.
