Most spike mats are for the back.
The one I bought is for the feet only. Plastic spikes.
(I'd rather have a mat with copper, iron, nickel, silver + zinc spikes, but since I'm allergic to nickel I didn't dare buy it.)

First time, 10 min with socks on: painful.
After a few times I could tolerate it better. Now: 30 min without socks.
Result after 3 weeks: nil.
But n=1.
Perhaps spike mats may help others.

Spike mat aka acupressure mat aka shakti mat.
Benefits reported by some:
Improved sleep, reduced headaches, loosened muscles, and reduced pain.
"The mat stimulates pressure points near meridians, meaning that tensions and energy can flow freely.”
Covid affected my nerves. I got inner vibrations (tremors) in my lower legs/feet and shooting neuralgia across my head and face - among other things.
So I bought a Swedish spike mat.

In case you didn't know: The eternal #hellfire #pain from stepping on a #lego #brick is available for home-use as-a-service now. It is called #ShaktiMat. 😩😱
You can thank me later.
