Wir fragen uns warum Unternehmen nicht auf alle Rechnungen einen EPC-Code drücken. Das würde das direkte Bezahlen sehr erleichtern, gerade bei den langen IBANs.

Auf meinen Rechnungen ist das schon lange Standard. Ob's die Kunden nutzen, weiß ich allerdings nicht. Aber wir als Kunden fänden es gut.

Die Welt von SEPA-XML ist schon faszinierend. Einerseits benutzen sie richtig ekelhaft abgekürzte Tag-Namen, mutmaßlich um Bytes zu sparen. Andererseits verwenden sie mit XML ein sehr aufgeblähtes Serialisierungsformat. Da fragt man sich wirklich, wie durchdacht die Entscheidung war, XML zu benutzen, wenn doch scheinbar die Nachrichtengröße ein Problem ist

#Wero is a European PayPal alternative created by European banks on top of regular #SEPA transactions. Unfortunately, Wero can only be used as a smartphone app (at least with all banks I have checked).

Apparently, with some banks strangers can find out your name and your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) by just entering your phone number which you signed up with for Wero. No payment is required for that! 🤡

No, thanks! I'll stick with SEPA and #PayPal payments.
