A few days ago, my elder was #SexuallyAssaulted at the facility by another resident.

( #Canada's #CriminalCode covers a wide variety of #nonconsensual acts as sexual assault, but all I will say here is that no medical interventions were required and my elder is physically uninjured.)

They are, however, concerned for their #safety going forward and the safety of other residents from the resident who assulted them.
