If concern for the lives for sea-dwellers isn't enough to convince people, then maybe the plight of fellow humans will. The land-animal slaughtering process is no better, being worked largely by vulnerable populations such as immigrants and the underprivileged, who are likewise abused.

If fish's bodies are good for us, you would think that pregnant women would be encouraged to eat MORE of it, not LESS. No animal products are ever actually beneficial to anyone involved, from the one being killed, to those made to process the bodies, to the one who's convinced to eat such things.

The "catch and release" idea seems so strange. It just isn't logical that someone wants to be nice to fish, but also decides to needlessly mangle and hurt them. If you ever did "catch-and-release" before going vegan, do you recall how you felt about it at the time, vs. how you feel about it now?

It's truly astounding the number of ways that we're managing to damage and interfere with so many species. What's particularly troubling about this statistic is that fish farms in Norway produce more than 65% of the world’s supply of farmed Atlantic salmon.
