#Astology is saying lots of vague predictions and only focusing on the ones, that by chance, happened (& ignoring the predictions, the majority of predictions, that didn't happen)

Also know as guessing and taking credit for, or believing in, the guessers & belief based predictions that happened by chance (a confirmation bias)

Anyone can predict the roll of a dice or the flip of a coin (sometimes)

What could cause this disagreement? There is a reasonable explanation in which all people are correct.

A researcher picks out a card that she sees as the colour red. She shows the card to three research participants & asks each of them to identify the colour.

Participant One says the colour is "green"

Participant Two says the colour is "blue"

Participant Three says the colour is "grey"

They're all correct! But how?

Clue! Associated learning.

We see the colour red. That colour is *only* a frequency of light (external environment). There is no colour, no light, inside our skulls (brain, etc.) Therefore, *red* is a neurological construct of the mind. *Red* Detection & being aware of *red*, I.e., consciousness, had an evolutionary adaptive quality.

E.g., the ability to detect & be aware of resources in the environment.
