CraftyI've been doing some scratch building on an #Airfix 1:48 #Chipmunk - and a lot of cockpit detailing.
I know cockpits are usually lost when closing up, but I wasn't prepared for just how much is hidden in this one.
But I've also been scratch building the engine, with the intent to have it on display... But have just realised I have *no* idea how to mask it up before priming and painting the fuselage...
So have some photos before I risk messing it all up š³

Honestly tho? If I was starting again, I would've selected a Russian AT-AT and Ukrainian rebel forces. Ah, the benefit of hindsight, eh? š¤·āāļø

Heather KavanaghMy 1940 Short Stirling project is coming together nicely. Upgrading a kit first made in the 1960s has been fun. Iām going to have to virtually scratch build nose and tail turrets, as I have done for the cockpit. Very pleased with how this build is going.
