Walker’s draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) closes for public comment tonight, and soon the Minister for the Environment will decide Toondah Harbour’s fate.
These irreplaceable wetlands are one of Australia’s 66 Ramsar sites and a safe haven for threatened migratory shorebirds. If this project goes ahead, no Ramsar site is safe.
