Seville trip pic dump n.3 Catedral de Sevilla. As with the Alcazar I had only visited a couple times on school trips. I truly love our cathedral, as it's one of the latest work of gothic architecture in the world, built atop the original mosque (which makes that it preserves the patio where ppl would have washed before coming inside the mosque, and the Giralda tower which was originally the minaret of it) and that you can see some addendums to the building already in neoclassical style. For someone who isn't Christian I sure do love ecclesiastical architecture 🤣

Premium tickets are not cheap, but Confort class is quite nice. We couldn't select the menu via the app and the information about the lunch is (for me) confusing, so I am curious how this works.

Engineering and neo-Gothic architecture here in the Santa Justa Lift in Lisbon from our day in the city in 2021. We're heading back this way in seven weeks and staying overnight this time so perhaps we'll even take a ride to the viewing platform. We'll also be heading to the Douro Valley for lunch and wine-tasting (of course) on my birthday the day afterwards.
