Well, the contemplative / reflective musical ambience of the early morning has dissolved.

kmpuzzled@Weltraumhirsch @Nerdperle Sorry to butt in, but #UrbanFantasy is my favorite.🤓Sounds like you want some older UrbanFantasy (before everyone jumped on the bandwagon) and to avoid ParanormalRomance (new couple each book). The Patricia Briggs #MercyThompson series is great with a little romance but very slow burn. Richard Kadrey's #SandmanSlim is darker but good. ML Brennan's #GenerationV has minimal romance and a slacker hero.
