After a brief visit to the Palace Square we next headed to Saint Isaac's Cathedral in Saint Petersburg. While we were waiting for our tour guide to pick up the tickets to look inside we got to admire the impressive southern doors, cast in bronze, and designed with the ones in the Florence Baptistry in mind.
