Those who follow me know we had a giant tree come down in a major winter windstorm a few months back. No damage but it took out three more mature Douglas Firs.

Was down in my creek bed photographing Trillium flowers today, and shot a few images of the fallen tree. It is across our main path, but based on the size, it will now live right there and we can still walk under it.

And if nobody was around when it fell, did it REALLY make a sound?
