ロッテは18日、4月16日日本ハム戦にて開催される「STAR WARS NIGHT」のジェダイ特別ポスタービジュアルを作成したと発表した。STAR WARS NIGHTのために撮り下ろしたマリーンズ5選手（小島和哉投手、坂本光士郎投手、池田来翔内野手、藤原恭大外野手、岡大海外野手）が銀河の正義の守護者「ジェダイ」に扮（ふん）し、スペシャルビジュアルとして登場する。このポスタービジュアルは試合当日にZOZOマリンスタジアムのコンコースにて掲出する。77年の全米公開以来、40年以上にわたって世界中で愛されるスター・ウォーズ。「光と闇の戦いを描く壮大なアドベンチャー」という物語に、世代を超えて全世界の観客が熱中し、何百万人ものファンを魅了し続けている。本イベントは、全世界のファンが熱望する究極の祭典「スター・ウォーズセレブレーションジャパン2025」が、4月18日～20日に幕張メッセで開催されることを記念し、開催される。当日はビジョン映像や音楽などでスター・ウォーズの銀河を表現する球場演出や球場外周に限定フォトスポットが登場するほか、STAR WARS NIGHTを記念する特別ゲストが来場し、球場を盛り上げる。ジェダイ特別ポスタービジュアル撮影に参加した小島は「当日特別仕様に変わるSTAR WARS NIGHTの撮影に参加させていただきました。初めてライトセーバーを持たせもらって、発光した時はとても興奮し、同時に銀河を守る覚悟も芽生えました。今季は自身のフォース（フォーク）に磨きをかけて、チームそしてスター・ウォーズセレブレーションジャパン2025を盛り上げられるように頑張ります！May the Force be with you…（フォースの力で勝利をつかめ）」とコメントした。【関連記事】ロッテニュース一覧
