Spent a good chunk of today talking to #uaw2865 and #sruuaw grad student workers about the #fairUCnow strike. It’s clear how much they care about their work and want to resume, but are also fed up with UC’s inability to bargain.
I can’t wait to help them in their work when the strike is over.

Hearing #Berkeley homeowners talk about proposed developments as "mini-dorms" like it would destroy the city to have more housing, the same week #UAW2865 #UAW5810 #SRUUAW are on strike to because their low wages put many in #RentBurden. It's out of touch and callous.
