Very encouraging to hear! And it's motivating to keep on making an effort to help #SRKW try and recover. One clarification to make is that the 200 m distance applies to whales in BC and Pacific Ocean with the exception of coastal waters in Southern BC where it's then 400 m exactly for the sake of high traffic and the SRKWs. All the guidelines are available at DFOs site!

Suspect they're Biggs, not #SRKW, because the seals were so close to shore it seemed they wanted to crawl into my lap.

What kind of ingrate is a bit disappointed b/c they're not SRKW? Me. But only a bit! So thrilled to be in their presence, sharing a world with such creatures.
