OMG SMTVV, I'm enjoying the Canon of Creation story quite a bit. It makes me wonder if the Canon of Vengeance is great too.

Fielding powerful demons has won me a fight that wasn't hard, even faster. It took about 5 rounds and an Angel of the God of Laws was made to kneel. Farming Macca and fusing demons was worthwhile. I'll need to do another farming run while finding all the Miman, in order to bolster my demon army. Since my Nahobino is max level, there is no level restriction holding me back from fusing powerful demons.

SMTVV has its hooks in me now; it's always post boss fight Shohei that a serious power boom happens for me. Higher Tier demons are beginning to populate my frontline ranks, and fusion fodder is taking up the backline.

Macca is really the only thing holding me back, but I am confronting as much of the Saki Mitama as possible for Macca farming. As they drop sellable relics and drop substantial amounts of Macca. It takes a Spyglass to figure out their weakness as it constantly changes for Mitama, but they take severe damage from that weakness. You can also use a piercing attack to destroy them too, I have a demon specifically for this purpose.

I am not concerned as much with the other Mitama as my character's level is fairly high and so are his demons. The only other Mitama that I go out of my way to hunt are Nigi Mitama, as they drop Glory Crystals, which gives the protagonist spendable Glory (currency to pay for miracles that alter gameplay, most can be toggled on or off). After breakfast, I will be playing more!

SMTVV progress is steady, I've confronted Nuwa and had a chat with her and the hottie Shohei! The first battle didn't go well as I didn't fuse high level demons. However, my second attempt when swimmingly, as I had a two demons with Fire Magic. The victory team was: Nezha Taizi, Feng Huang, Kaya-no-Hime fighting by the side of my Nahobino, Unmē.

I'm excited to continue to the next story phase!

Getting back into the flow of SMTVV, I am gradually fusing all the base demons I will be needing for future stronger demons. I am making sure to let them learn all their skills and saving them to the Demon Compendium before using them as fusion fodder. Just in case, as I want to pass on certain skills to better demons much later on. I will be needing Demons like Alice later on for a particularly rough encounter.

I had my first death against Pazuzu because I forgot about his strong Mudo Spell. It wrecked my Nahobino in a few press turns, after covering up his Dark weakness with the Affinities of another demon...The fight went a lot smoother!

OMG SMTV Vengeance looks so much prettier on Xbox Series S. Aogami, who is already hot, is literally an inferno now (yeah, I'm that gurl, thirsting over an ani-man). The story seems slightly different, they may have reworked the Canon of Creation. As in certain parts the dialogue and flow feels different. Honestly, this could be me having a faulty memory, only remembering the broad concepts and not finer details.

I'm a bit disappointed with #SMTVVengence. I really liked the original and I guess I was expecting Vengence to be more like a new game. After finishing the first area, not much changed (except it seems to be much easier or I am just awesome).

I'll paddle through anyway probably, but I refuse to do the miniman hide and seek thing again though.

In December, during my break, I rolled credits on Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. It was my first big game that I played entirely on #SteamDeck. It was perfect, really.

Beating #SMTVV took me 105h 36m. The final bosses were some of my favourite of any JRPG that I have played.

I kind of thought #SMTVV would be the last #SMT we would see for a while, but sounds like we might get an announcement for SMTVI in the new year?

I now have two more #jrpg games in my possession... Including #SMTVV again because it's cool...

I guess #UnicornOverlord is more of a #TacticsRPG but #LiveALive is definite turn based.
