@TheMendoVoice I passed through recently. Downtown #Ukiah is rather nice. It avoids either extreme of either being dead or being nothing but trendy pricey restaurants. There's actual stores with interesting stuff. Although, tbh, this is more a benefit for residents than visitors.
What would really get visitors in would to be to extend the #SMARTtrain into Mendocino county, even with minimal service (say, one train each way during the morning and the evening).
The tracks are all there, just weedgrown.
