We covered this in our newsletter a few weeks back and this week we invited Scott Shenker to contribute a guest post. Scott argues (and we agree) that increasing the inclusiveness of the conference (particularly by accepting more papers) is more important than waiting to achieve consensus on every detail of the changes required.
