Which to choose. . . ? 🤔 #SHARP23 #SHARP2023
Today begins @sharporg’s #SHARP2023 #SHARP23 conference. I may be posting a bit this week to share some of the cool scholarship & ideas from the book history/studies crew.
The conference is completely online & there are approximately a gazillion sessions.
🚨 This just in!🚨
Because of the *affordances* of online conferences, we have additional space for presenters at #SHARP2023 so we're extending the submission deadline through the end of January!
If you'd like to join a global, online conference on the broadly construed topic of "Affordances and Interfaces: Textual Interactions Past, Present and Future," we're excited to hear from you and learn about your work! 🤓
One more day to submit a proposal for #SHARP2023! 😅
Our final highlighted topics are:
🦠 Books as vectors: of disease, ideas, colonial power.
🗝️ Translation and multilingual formats.
📰 Digital publishing, design, and disability.
🖥️ Aural, screen and social reading practices.
If you're interested in these or any of the topics we've already featured, get your proposal to http://sharpweb.org/sharp2023/
