If I recall correctly Alex Morgan’s last match in which she played 13 minutes was also a loss for the Wave. Can’t remember who they played that time.

The USian urge to fill every moment with chatter and advertising during a match is never more apparent than when ESPN is the broadcaster for an NWSL match.

Interviewing some podcaster for over 5 minutes while the game is going on.
Had to mute it.
Meanwhile the e.l.f. and Tylenol graphics are moving randomly on the pitch.

I’ll never complain about the basic international stream again after this 😝
