I always feel sad for Orlando Pride when I see how empty their stadium is. I know it’s been a rocky 10 years of club existence but the last two years have been quite successful.
They have really exciting players (they’ve had one of the best players in the world, Marta, for most of the club’s existence), a likeable coach, pretty kits, warm and sunny climate… what else do you need?

Is it poor marketing? Same owners as the men’s team. I know Florida is not known for being a safe haven for queer folks. Is that contributing to it? Sexism? Are women too poor in Florida to afford tickets?
