Does anyone happen to know if there are any Wikipedia editing projects specific for #WomensHockey players and topics? Or events for addressing the discoverability gap in #WomensSports similar to events for women in science?
I've noticed a lot of sparse or outdated pages when looking up #PWHL and #SDHL players, and a lot of #IceHockey topic pages (like those for goaltenders, defenders, forwards, captains, etc.) which don't have any women in their examples and lists.

Last week, we did the first Women’s Hockey Roundup of the season. This week, we’re doing the first free Women’s Hockey Roundup, and first free article of the season. That’s right, free articles are back. The 10-week off-season is over, and we’re resuming the freebies. There are a guaranteed three articles a week: Women’s Hockey Roundup (Tuesdays) and World-Wide Wednesday being free articles, and a Friday article that has no set topic that will be for paid subscribers. Team specific articles will continue to be for paid subscribers, along with articles on prospects. Those will come out on an irregular schedule. Anyway, let’s get into the article proper:
