One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy S25 FE is now open!

One UI 8.5 has made a significant appearance, with new features, design improvements, and other improvements. We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has recently opened the One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy S25 FE in the following countries:

• Korea
• United States of America
• United Kingdom
• India

This gives us a hint that the Beta Program is now open. Users should be able to try out One UI 8.5 in its earliest shape and form on their Galaxy S25 FE devices.

Please note that Samsung might not have opened the Beta program in your country yet, even if your country is eligible for beta testing. In this case, you’ll have to wait for the beta banner.

To join the Beta Program, you must have the latest version of Samsung Members installed. You can get the latest version through either the Galaxy Store or the Play Store. Once done, you should be able to join the program if you have an eligible device.

EXCLUSIVE: One UI 8.5 Beta forums for the Galaxy S24 FE + S25 FE spotted!

In an unexpected move, while Samsung is testing One UI 8.5 beta builds for the S24 and for the Galaxy Z Fold/Flip6 series, they have also considered testing the beta builds for the S24 FE and the S25 FE.

The below builds have been spotted according to Tarun Vats as mentioned in the above linked article:

• S25 FE: S731NKSU5ZZCB
• S24 FE: S721NKSUAZZCB

While those builds have been spotted, we have conducted further investigation, and we have spotted the One UI 8.5 beta forums for both the Galaxy S24 FE and the Galaxy S25 FE devices, at least in the USA forums!

This means that we are one step closer to Samsung opening the beta program for the Galaxy S25 FE and for the S24 FE devices.

Once the beta program actually opens, we’ll let you know.

Samsung reveals the Galaxy S25 FE

In today’s Galaxy Event September 2025, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE, the newest addition to the Galaxy S25 family that first came on January. After the Galaxy S25 Edge, this Fan Edition phone is the latest FE phone that came after the last year’s Galaxy S24 FE.

This latest FE phone brings the most advanced AI experiences, with the powerful AI tools, such as Generative Edit, being available to enhance your productivity, along with Google Gemini, Gemini Live, and Circle to Search. The below Galaxy AI tools are available:
