Just spent a few hours troubleshooting self-hosted #RustDesk running into a timeout upon connection, even though online status was reported correctly. Looked all over the network a million times, changed all kinds of settings, reviewed server container config, everything...

Turns out the public relay key on the client config missed its last character. Logs mentioned absolutely nothing even remotely close to authentication issues and looked perfectly fine until a timeout on each attempt.

How that character came to be amiss is beyond me. The client even requires you to unlock these settings, and no one has even touched them after it worked for a while at first.

#Sectigo maliciously revoked #RustDesk 's code signing certificate because #VirusTotal says two engines are marking it as malware. Sectigo only give them 24 hours to resolve the issue, but most antivirus companies needs few days to resolve the false positives.

Now, all of the false positives are resolved, but Sectigo still no response for this incident for a week.
