One exciting thing about winter is the Orion constellation is back and so is the Great Orion & Running Man nebulae!

This time I wanted to get a nice wide shot of them and their surroundings so I did a 4-panel mosaic. The mosaic has a mean of 2.5 hours per panel and there is nearly 10 hours of data here! Next year I'll add even more data!

I'm adding another two panels to get NGC 1999 as well and the data is fantastic. I just have to finish my final process of it.

M42 is special for me. It's the reason I started my astronomy journey and it's my favorite object in the winter night sky. I keep coming back to it again and again and it became a nice benchmark of my skills in astrophotography.
