The Greek world extended from North Africa and Egypt to what is now Turkey, far more than to northern Europe. Yet nobody seems bothered when blonde, blue-eyed actors play Achilles or Helen. Apparently, everyone thinks ancient Greeks looked like Vikings. 🤦
Interesting how “historical accuracy” suddenly becomes a major concern only when a Black actor is cast.
