Tully - hier anschauen

Ausstrahlung auch im englischen Originalton Marlo (Charlize Theron) ist gerne Mutter und freut sich auf ihr drittes Kind, doch nach der anstrengenden Geburt ist sie mit ihren Kräften am Ende. Auch wenn ihr Mann Craig (Mark Duplass) bemüht ist, an Durchschlafen und Erholungspausen ist nicht mehr zu denken. Obwohl sie skeptisch ist, folgt sie seinem Rat und engagiert eine Haushälterin und Babysitterin. Tully (Mackenzie Davis) kommt herzerwärmend durch die Tür und und tatsächlich lebt Marlo schnell wieder auf und kann ihr Muttersein genießen. Der Mythos, der seit ewigen Zeiten zu Schwangerschaft und Muttersein herrscht, wird hier auf humorvolle Weise entzaubert und zeigt, dass Hilfsangebote von außen eine Lösung sein können und kein Versagen darstellen. Die beiden Hauptdarstellerinnen ergänzen sich wunderbar und ihre spritzigen Dialoge helfen dabei, das Thema Überforderung der elterlichen Aufgaben realistisch, aber nicht in deprimierender Weise zu thematisieren.

Dieser Film sollte wohl eigentlich nicht von einem über sechzigjährigen, weißen, kinderlosen Mann besprochen werden – und das noch, ausgerechnet am sogenannten Muttertag. Andererseits passt genau diese Irritation erstaunlich gut. Denn Jason Reitmans Film handelt auch davon, wie selbstverständlich Frauen mit Care-Arbeit allein gelassen werden, während Männer danebenstehen und versuchen, ihre eigene Ahnungslosigkeit dennoch irgendwie halb reflektiert zu verwalten.
