I consider myself pretty deep into the style filmmaking of past decades. But #Gold from 1974 with #RogerMoore was hard to watch even for me. It's incredibly dated!

It's not a bad-bad film. But everything is so on the nose. Several obvious themes inherent in the plot (apartheid...) are completely disregarded.

My "favourite": the bad guy is characterised by being a non-smoker. Yes, that's a negative character trait. Oh, and he can't get it up.
