Bis zum 14. März werden viele Tore bejubelt. Mit dabei ist natürlich das Team B-Human - zwölfmaliger Weltmeister und eines der besten Teams der #RoboCup Standard Platform League.🏆

In diesem Jahr stehen komplett neue Roboter auf dem Spielfeld und auch die Liga, in der die Studierenden und Forschenden der #UniBremen und des #DFKI antreten, ist neu. Es wird spannend!

If you have a bit of time today, this might be an interesting video to watch, Marc Pollefeys talks with Yann LeCun about #EmbodiedAI ,i.e., AI dealing with the real world. Something I've been working on since the days of #RoboCup . Figuring out how to deal with high dimensional noisy data aka "The Real World" is hard and dealing with language is comparably easy, we've already seen this in the early days of symbolic AI. In a way, that's why the AI working group in the OPC Foundation leverages the mapping of semantics provided by #OPCUA to deal with real world data from manufacturing and so we can leverage LLMs to help us interact with real world data. But there's still a significant gap between knowing that a number represents the temperature of a boiler to understanding the physics of boiling liquids in a confined space.
