If you thought photography can be an internet rabbit hole, please let me introduce roasting coffee at home :-) I just picked up a different kind of coffee bean, and so I've been testing small batches and roasting for different lengths of time, weighing them before after to figure out how much water weight they lost... Spreadsheets are involved. Heh, well it's pretty fun, to be honest.

This is a bad idea because:
- it's single-serve, & therefore wasteful
- it locks you in to one vendor
- coffee needs to rest several days after being roasted, sometimes a week or more, for the flavor to come out
@fred @MiaG Yes. The beans I'm using are the ones from my #roastingcoffee pic a couple weeks ago. I'm not enjoying them as a #pourover, but they're fine as #Turkishcoffee--the same way an #espresso blend is rather bland when brewed as a pourover.
