An #Aboriginal #Tasmanian hunting party came near a settlement as #RisdonCove on #ThisDayInHistory in 1804, and despite showing no threat, not even carrying spears, the #British soldiers opened fire with grapeshot cannon (anti-personnel fire), killing a large (uncounted) number.
