Day 30 #30DaysOfBiking: It's officially a wrap! Despite a downpour in the night and forecast for high chance of rain, I got to ride to HQ at 7:40am and back to home office at 12:30pm without putting on rain gear. Brisk breeze made me glad I was moving myself, e-bike saved me from being late for an 8:00 a.m. meeting with that little extra boost when I needed it.

Day 28 #30DaysOfBiking: Rode over to a friend's house to drop off some cast iron pans I'm passing on. Too heavy for me since I broke my wrist. Caught a hole in the overcast/rain/sun/overcast cycle. Mostly.

Day 27 #30DaysOfBiking: After coming back from Seattle via Amtrak, ran errands via car (due to hauling needs and distance). Took a quick spin around the neighborhood loop as the rain and wind picked up. Streak continues.

Day 26 #30DaysOfBiking: Before I get back on the road for another trip to Seattle (this time by Amtrak yay!), I did a quick bike ride to drop off items at the nearest little free library. Managed to find a sunny hole in today's rain forecast-- another yay. And thanks to my bakery ride yesterday I have a cookie to eat on the train.

Day 25 #30DaysOfBiking: Drove to Seattle for meetings and back in the rain and heavy traffic. I'd rather take Amtrak Cascades but the schedule didn't work this time. When I got home I jumped on my bike, rode the easy 3/4 of a mile to the neighborhood bakery, and got a bagel and treats. Rode home happy that my streak was still going and that I had a warm bagel to look forward to.

Day 24 #30DaysOfBiking: Rode one quick lap around our neighborhood loop to be sure I checked the box because the forecast is not pretty and I have lots of meetings today. Sure enough the veggie mister started misting on me just as I wrapped up. Most days I would just gear up and ride but I don't have time between meetings to get to the office; day started with first meeting at 7:30.

Day 3 #30DaysOfBiking: Thought I had spotted a hole between cloudbursts to dash down to the neighborhood bakery and get a bagel for lunch. I misjudged. Rain cape only handled part of the problem.

#Coffeeneuring #7 for reals this time, and a great finish it was. Met up with Stefanie Randolph, who was on my first coffeeneuring ride of this year. Biked to pick up some paint, stopped at Bar Francis for our coffee beverages, then biked to my house where she helped me paint two rooms. Very happy with the day and so happy to have such a great friend! 7.53 miles in sun and in drizzle.

[Edit: I misnumbered up above! I'm not done yet!]

#Coffeeneuring #7: I did it! Rode downtown to a ladies' brunch to celebrate my birthday. Coffee may have been accompanied by mimosas along with a great meal at Octapas. Sunshine on the way there, a little drizzle riding home later that couldn't dampen my spirits.
