And then he tried to neg her by telling her that if she quit, her next job would be at Kmart. After starring for 6 years on one of the best shows ever to grace a television? Seriously? Bro seriously thought that was gonna work? 💀

1️⃣ Another of those earnest-but-dull episodes that the show loves to do. It plods along without every really engaging the audience on an emotional or intellectual level. It has a strong guest cast but mostly gives them nothing to do.

1️⃣ There's an interesting idea here, but it goes nowhere. The episode feels underdeveloped. And, despite a plot where the crew are being taken over, nothing that happens is ever exciting. Plus, there are lots of unanswered questions when the closing credits appear.

2️⃣ A shame because in terms of ideas and visuals it is very impressive. The execution lets it down.

3️⃣ My 784th episode of #StarTrek.
