It’s a #LostBones #FossilFriday! 🐂🦥🐴🐘🐪🐟🍃 This juvenile bison mandible was found two feet below the surface near Cannon Lake, just outside Faribault, Minnesota, during excavation for a cabin foundation.

Donated in 2018, it is now housed at the Rice County Historical Society in Faribault.

It was found in a sinkhole in Wolcott township by an independent researcher and is currently housed at the Rice County Historical Society in Faribault.

It was found by a local man along Mud Creek in Warsaw County and was donated in the early 1900s.
