Na stole umieściła 72 przedmioty - od nieszkodliwych (róża, pióra, miód, chleb, wino, perfumy) po niebezpieczne (nóż, żyletka, łańcuchy, bicz a nawet naładowany pistolet).

Początkowo ludzie byli ostrożni, ale z czasem (bierność artystki, nuda, chęć nowego?) zachowania stawały się coraz brutalniejsze - cięto jej ubrania, raniono skórę, a jedna osoba przyłożyła jej pistolet do głowy.

#Performance miał pokazać:
* granice między artystą a publicznością,
* psychologię tłumu,
* przemoc ukrytą w ludziach,
* uprzedmiotowienie kobiecego ciała.

Rhythm 0 jest dziś podobno uznawany za jedno z najważniejszych dzieł w historii sztuki performansu.

I rewatched #SorryToBotherYou Tuesday night and realized I was really much too stoned the first time I saw it.

I'd forgotten all about the #WeWork / #WorryFree aspect and the #equisapiens. I even misremembered the early garage door scene as some trippy effect.

Anyway, #STBY is very good, funny, and presciently dark. Watch it when you're not too high.

I love that #BootsRiley let #DannyGlover have that line, and the reference to #Rhythm0, among many other things that should make us all think.

I probably first heard about Rhythm 0 in the 80's and was moved and blown away by the concept, and the violence of the audience.

It's only in the last decade, the last few months, especially, that I learned more about the artist, Marina Abramovic, and just now that I finally watched "Marina Abramovic The Artist Is Present".

She is simply amazing. Maybe the best artist of the last 50 years.
