I'm watching two episodes at a time, which is my usual limit, but it's very difficult to not plow through them all.
It's also Twilight Zone meets Sorry to Bother You; a tv show that feels extremely familiar and unlike anything else, all at once.
The production is fantastic; grounded and surreal, using the procedural format to mock and deconstruct the foundation of nearly every tv drama, across genres.

I watched #TheSubstance last night and then looked through user and critic reviews after.
I found myself in a similar situation as I did after watching #SorryToBotherYou
I went into both films spoiler free, but was not surprised by the direction they went in at all, with either film.
Lots of reviews for both had audiences saying "What the fuck did I just watch" in response.
But with both films, I instead was saying "It makes perfect logical sense that the film went in this direction".
I'm not sharing this on social media to be smug, though, and boast about how much smarter I am than others.
Maybe part of me does think that, but a louder voice is saying "why I am I so weird and not freaked out by the twists in these films like everyone else is"

What is going on in WA? This sounds a lot like the “WorryFree” corporation from ‘Sorry to Bother You’, the Boots Riley horror comedy. The workers might want to read their contracts closely.

Sadly, it'll be a while before I can watch it because I canceled #Prime at the end of last year and have zero plans to ever rejoin.
