I am listening to the #acotar #ACourtOfThornsAndRoses audiobook. I have read the books previously. Going back over the story, knowing things about character and outcomes, its an interesting and psychological experence to witness Feyre fall for her abuser, and remember that as a first time reader we im a way fell for him to. But revisiting the story now, knowing what I lnpw about him I am seeing all the red flags I missed the first time when it was assumed he was the hero of the story.
And you realise its the same way in real life. When the person is falling, they dont see the red flags, they have (pun intended) fairy blinders on.
